If you have a few hours to spare before leaving Tagbilaran City through the seaport, you can hang out at Sweet Home Cafe for a while. Located along Remolador Street, the cafe is in the same building as Mang Inasal.
The place is spacious and it has a good ambiance for those who love a bit of peace and quiet, at least when we were there on a Sunday morning.
Free WiFi is available. There are also charging stations available at 15 pesos (ouch). No extension wires allowed.
The cafe offers a variety of items, including baked goods and of course, a range of coffee drinks.
I had the berry yoghurt smoothie (i forgot the exact name but I think it was something like, Berry Blue Yogurt Smoothie, 95 PHP) and paired with blueberry cheese cake, 100 Php. Kat had her usual coffee and a tiramisu-inspired cupcake.
They also have breakfast meals, pastries, sandwiches and burgers, if you’re famished.
It’s a good place to while away the time before we board the fastcraft going back to Cebu after our 24-hour stay in Bohol.
